LISA Snatched 2 Trophies in Mercu Buana

On August 31^st – September 2^nd 2012, LISA successfully snatched 2 trophies in Mercubuana English Event 2012, a Jabodetabek-scale event held in Mercu Buana University.

Talitha Ambarsary Otje (X-F) became the champion in the Speech competition, after successfully amusing the judges with her speech about TV dramas in the preliminary round, and about inner peace in the final round. She proved that even though she’s still a 10^th grader, she could defeat other contestants and became the winner.

The second trophy was brought home by Mahardika Muhammad Akram (XI IPA 1) who became the 2^nd runner-up in Spelling Bee competition. On the preliminary round, Mahardika was able to get the highest score and could proceed to the final. In the end, he managed to become the 2^nd runner-up.
